2020 has been an incredibly challenging year for us all, so we think you deserve a little extra magic this Christmas…
Here are my five tips for a memorable (and magical) Christmas:
1. Get your home smelling like Christmas!
If you’re looking to get into the Christmas spirit early, but don't want to break out the Michael Bublé tunes just yet, treat yourself to one of our Vanilla Soy Candles. The decadent combination of sweet and salty, buttery caramel with a hit of creamy vanilla is all you need to start feeling that Christmas buzz.
Or, if you’re after the sweet yet spicy experience of mulled wine; our Sugar Plum candle provides the ideal punch of berries, sweet cinnamon and spice to warm your entire body with one whiff.
If you’re into a more fresh and summery scent to match the Aussie heat, our Peach & Lime Soy Candle is the way to go! This candle mixes uplifting scents of zesty citrus with sweet and peppery basil tone to create a perfectly balanced experience.
Our fresher, more lighter scents are the ideal accompaniment for a typical Australian Christmas with seafood and fresh fruit platters.
2. Bring the bar to you
Spice things up this year and bring the bar to you! Our fabulous range of bottled cocktails are the perfect way to get the classy ‘shaken not stirred’ experience right in your own home.
Just because we’ve been stuck at home, doesn’t mean we can’t treat ourselves to a cocktail night! Level up your at-home bar with our Classy Cocktail gift box, which will have you enjoying the high life, whilst sipping on cocktails from crystal tumblers.
3. Did someone say Gingerbread House?
We’ve made the annual gingerbread house decorating competition a breeze this year with our easy to follow Gingerbread House Kit!
Let us handle the base pieces and fickle royal icing, whilst you focus on the creative, fun part.
All you need to do is to plan your colour scheme and find the perfect decorating lollies! The only struggle you’ll have is resisting the urge to eat your masterpiece before Christmas Day...
This kit is entirely vegan friendly, nut-free and Kosher so everyone can take part in the fun!
Top Tip: For a show stopping Gingerbread house, use some chocolate drops as roof tiles. Super easy and they look so impressive.
4. Let’s talk stocking fillers
Have a family member or friend that can’t go past a Christmas pudding? Our premium Australian Christmas Puddings are made with Barossa Valley brandy and fresh free range eggs from the Hunter Valley and make for great stocking fillers.
Each pudding is lovingly handmade using the traditional boil-in-the-cloth method before being hung to dry, age and mature producing a delicious moist tasting pudding. You may be tempted to add one into your own stocking too!
5. You can’t go wrong with a personalised gift box
Our fifth and final tip (and possibly the most important), is to not overthink it when it comes to gifting.
Take time this Christmas to build a personalised box and get it shipped straight to them if you can’t be together this year. It’s never been easier to build a customised gift box for that special someone.
All you have to do is:
- Add your gift box: we'll pack all your items in a plain cardboard box unless you've added our premium gift box to your cart.
- Select your items: we have different sized boxes, so don't worry about how many things fit into the box - we'll look after that for you!
- Add your gift message at check out: we include a complimentary, handwritten gift tag with all gifts.
We also have a range of ready-made Christmas gift hampers!
From our delicious Happy Holidays Hamper with the perfect bundle of treats and snacks, to our Mini Christmas Delight Hamper which makes for the perfect little festive gift for workmates, clients or friends; we've made it easy for you to choose the perfect gift with our range of ready-made gift boxes.
We hope our handy hints bring a little joy to your November, and get you into the Christmas spirit nice and early!
Whilst this has been a year of unknowns, the one thing we DO know is that Christmas is coming and so is the magic that comes with it...
